INTRODUCTION Concept mapping (CM) is a teaching and learning strategy that establishes a bridge between how people learn knowledge and sensible learning. Students need to have sufficient foundation and a critical thinking about CM and the relations between different concepts. Concept mapping promises to be useful in enhancing meaningful learning and students‟ conceptual understanding. Concept mapping helps meaningful learning in several ways. It is an activity that provides the student with an opportunity to organize, summarize, analyze and evaluate many different ideas. Thus, it promotes the development of critical thinking skills, which can then be used for other meaningful learning activities. INTERNSHIP PHASE - 2 WEEKLY REFLECTION WEEK - 1 06- 07-2022- 08-07-2022 As a part of the B Ed curriculum, the second phase of school internship program was conducted. The internship program was started on 06 July 2022. Twelve trainees from different optional subjects were assigned to take classes in Govt. Vocational Higher Secondary School, Thattamala. The first bell was at 9:15 a.m.The classes starts at 9:30 a.m. after the morning prayer. The working hours of the school is from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There are  eight periods in a day. The headmistress of the school and the concern teachers gave an idea about the classes to all of us. I was assigned to take classes in 8 D and was given the time table of the same. On the first day, we met the headmistress and handed over the attendance register. Then we went to observe the class taken by the concern teacher. INTRODUCTION As a part of B.Ed curriculum, we the teacher trainees were expected to do an innovative work. So I prepared a model of the lesson ' Tolstoy Farm '. 'Tolstoy Farm' is an extract from Gandhiji's autobiography 'The Story of My Experiment With Truth'. Gandhiji describes his life with the inmates of the Tolstoy Farm in this lesson. I did this model to give an idea about the Tolstoy Farm for the students. This innovative work helps a teacher to teach the lesson easily and the innovative work have a major role in teaching English.
